Sociology students present at three major conferences

Ten sociology graduate students and one undergraduate sociology major presented papers and posters at three major conferences this summer: the combined meeting of the Gerontological Society of America (GSA)/International Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics (IAGG) in San Francisco in July and at the annual meeting of the Society for the Study of Social Problems (SSSP) and the American Sociological Association (ASA), both in Montreal, in August. Students presenting include; Tirth Bhatta (spring PhD graduate, 4 presentations), Anne Bryden, Lacey Caporale, Wenxuan Huang, Elizabeth Nalepa, Brittany Rabb (undergrad), Sarah Shick, Adrianna Smell, Alicia Smith-Tran (3 presentations), Minzhi Ye (2 presentations), and Jiao Yu. Several sociology faculty also organized symposia and presented posters and papers at these conferences.
