Spencier Ciaralli earns American Fellowship from the American Association of University Women

Sociology PhD student Spencier Ciaralli was featured in The Daily for her accomplishment in being awarded a $20,000 American Fellowship from the American Association of University Women (AAUW).

The AAUW empowers women and girls through research, education and advocacy. Over the past 132 years, the organization has provided more than $115 million in fellowships, grants and awards to 13,000 women from 150 countries.

The American Fellowship is AAUW’s largest funding program, making it one of the world’s oldest and most prestigious fellowship programs exclusively for women. Fellowships support scholars who are completing doctoral dissertations, conducting postdoctoral research or finishing research for publication. Read more about the fellowship here.
