Dr. Karie Feldman (PhD, 2010), full-time lecturer in Sociology, has accepted a position as Assistant Dean in CWRU’s Office of Undergraduate Studies. As a Sociology lecturer, she was nominated multiple times for the Carl F. Wittke Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching. She was also nominated for the J. Bruce Jackson, MD, Award in Undergraduate Mentoring in 2018 and named an Outstanding Faculty Advocate by Disability Resources in 2017 — all reflecting her dedication to students and to making clear the importance of sociology.
