Four New Ph.D. Grads!
In the early summer, four students successfully defended their doctoral dissertations and all have accepted excellent employment opportunities.
Luma al Masarweh (dissertation) –Transnational Projects of Second-Generation Arab Americans)
Spencier Ciaralli (dissertation) – The Climax of the Story: Queering Women’s Sexual Histories and Pleasure Narratives) has accepted a position as Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology at Augustana University.
Wenxuan (Cherry) Huang – (dissertation) – Leisure to Explore or Failure to Launch? A Cohort Comparison of the Transition to Adulthood between Late Baby Boomers and Early Millennials) has joined the Department of Sociology at Johns Hopkins University as Research Assistant Professor.
Jiao Yu (dissertation) – Fertility History and Later Life Health: A Sequence Analysis of Cohorts before and during the One-Child Policy Era) has accepted a postdoctoral fellowship position in the Minnesota Population Center at the University of Minnesota.
